What information does the application collect and how is it used?

Information Provided by the User

The application collects the information you provide when you download and register for the application. Registration with the Service Provider is not mandatory. However, please note that some features of the application may only be available after registration.

The Service Provider may also use the information you provide to contact you from time to time, such as to send you important information or required notices.

Automatically Collected Information

Additionally, the application may automatically collect certain information, including but not limited to the type of mobile device you are using, the unique device ID of your mobile device, the IP address of your mobile device, the mobile operating system, the type of mobile internet browser you are using, and information about how you use the application.

Does the application collect current location information from your device?

This application does not collect information about the location of your mobile device.

Do third parties see the information collected by the application and/or have access to it?

Only aggregated, anonymized data is regularly transmitted to external services to assist the Service Provider in improving the application and its services.

Please note that the application uses third-party services that have their own privacy policies regarding the processing of data. Below are the links to the privacy policies of the third-party services used by the application:

• Google Play Services
• Google Analytics for Firebase

The Service Provider may disclose information provided by the user and automatically collected information:

• when required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process;
• when the Service Provider believes in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect its rights, ensure your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a governmental request.

What opt-out options do I have?

You can stop the collection of information by the application at any time by uninstalling the application. You can use the standard uninstall processes of your mobile device for this.

Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information

The Service Provider retains user-provided data as long as you use the application. Automatically collected information is stored for up to 24 months and may then be aggregated. If you would like the Service Provider to delete your data provided through the application, please contact them at admin@abuda.ch, and the Service Provider will respond within a reasonable timeframe. Please note that some or all of the provided data may be necessary for the application to function properly.

Security

The Service Provider is committed to protecting the confidentiality of your information. Physical, electronic, and procedural security measures are in place to secure the processed and stored information. For example, access to this information is granted only to authorized employees and contractors who need to know this information to operate, develop, or improve the application. Please note that despite all efforts, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.

Changes

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time for various reasons. The Service Provider will notify you of changes by updating this page with the new privacy policy. It is recommended to review this privacy policy regularly, as continued use of the application constitutes acceptance of all changes.

This privacy policy is effective as of April 14, 2025.

Your Consent

By using the application, you consent to the processing of your information by the Service Provider as described in this privacy policy. "Processing" includes, among other things, the use of cookies on a computer/mobile device or the use, storage, deletion, combination, and disclosure of information in any manner.
